About the Niacin Skin Flush - Sage, Beneficial & Invigorating
SuperNutrition uses niacin rather than niacinamide because it is the more active form of Vitamin B-3 and provides nutritional benefits not available from niacinamide, including a possible “niacin flush.” The niacin flush represents increased blood flow, and which in turn, carries more nutrients and oxygen directly to the cells of your body. This niacin flush may result in a warm to hot, reddening, and sometimes itchy tingling of the skin. It can last from 15 minutes to an hour or more and may be followed by a slight passing chill. In very rare cases, the niacin flush may result in a rash.

The Niacin Skin Flush
To help reduce the niacin flush, SuperNutrition uses an exclusive Two-Stage Fast Release for the niacin in the Opti-Pack. With this method, unless more than one orange tablet is taken at once, very few people flush ( 1 out of 1000 ). Yet, even without a flush, you still get the benefits of the niacin from of Vitamin B-3.

Notice About Vitamin E
Although there are few, if any, reports of problems, people with high blood pressure, rheumatic heart disease, diabetes or overactive thyroids should always consult their physicians before increasing their Vitamin E, and should always increase it slowly and carefully.

A dietary supplement for men, women, and teens each packet ( 6 tablets ) contains: 3 orange multi-vitamin/antioxidant tablets and 3 gray multi-mineral/antioxidant tablets.

Fast-Digesting Tablets the Opti-pack tablets are laboratory-tested to be very fast-digesting. In normal stomach acid, the orange tablets disintegrate in less than 30 minutes and the gray within 30-60 minutes.

Suggested Use: One Super Nutrition Opti-Pack packet per day for full potency. To improve calcium absorption, take your vitamins 2 to 3 times daily immediately after meals.

* Alternate Usages - These options increase the chance of "the niacin skin flush":
* 2 orange and 2 gray after your largest meal, and 1 orange and 1 gray after another meal
* Entire packet after a full meal.
* Teenagers ( 13-14 years ) 1 orange and 1 gray after a full breakfast or lunch.
* Teenagers ( 15-17 years ) 1 orange and 1 gray after a full breakfast and again after lunch 2 orange and 2 gray after a full breakfast or lunch

Note 1: The orange tablet contains niacin, therefore taking more than one orange tablet at a time increases the chance of "niacin skin flush."
